After a summer of 105+ weather for 2 months or so, we are now getting some much needed rain. Here on our property it's a gentle rain and so welcome.
A couple of years ago, beginning in late May, it rained for over 40 days and we were so very tired of feeling soggy. Thank you rain for returning.
Yet, according to a Statesman article today "The rain has done little so far to replenish area lakes, however, which are still near historic low levels after two years of drought."
