NOT HAPPY with SH130 toll road tonight. debris IN road that couldn't be avoided due to high speeds and inadequate lighting caused me to have a flat (totally destroyed tire). Thank Providence I didn't have a blow-out and accident. I hope no one else did either. I called 3-1-1 and they said they'd report to TXDOT. I was going only 70 MPH. I can't imagine hitting anything in the road at 80 MPH. This was in SOUTHBOUND west lane between BLUE BLUFF RD exit and FM973 exit. There's NO artificial lighting in this stretch. Most, if not all, of the southbound tollway's overhead lights between HWY290 and FM973 are dark. WHY IS THIS? The toll portion of HWY290 is dramatically lit, why not SH130? Another vehicle had gotten off the tollroad nearby the debris. Unsure if driver had a disabled vehicle or was just checking their vehicle. This was between 9:15 and 9:30pm Sat 9/19/2015.
